After completing French studies at UCLA, Ms. Varza was hired by the French government to work in San Francisco, helping US start-ups open offices in France.  It was during this time that she felt in love with the entrepreneurial world.
Since 2009, she has been living in France, first serving as the editor of TechCrunch France and then as the VP of Business Development and Partnerships for Girls in Tech Global before joining the Microsoft Europe team.  She was recently named by Business Insider as one of “The 30 Most Important Women under 30 in Tech.”

Listen and discover her vision on the start-up world in France, including comparisons with her previous experience in the Silicon Valley.  Her honest and critical eyes show that France has been catching up fast with other countries in the dynamic start-up scene for the past few years.
