Today, for “Straight from the US” (the first program in English by Widoobiz), Aurelien Cottet, founder of The American Clubs, hosts Liam Boogar. Liam is the cofounder of Rude Baguette, the well-known English blog about French startups.
Liam Boogar is originally from California with a double diploma from the University of California at San Diego in Mathematics and Classical Studies in French, Latin and Greek. He completed his studies with an extra year at the University of Bordeaux in 2010. He started his blogging career while still a student.
Since 2010, Liam has made a name for himself among the startup world in Europe, in particular the French scene. His knowledge about the French market has made him one of the main references for American startups wishing to expand in France.
